Commonwealth Games 2018 Qualifiers

Wrestling star set to represent India in the Commonwealth Games 2018 Indian star wrestlers Sushil Kumar, Shakshi Malik and Babaita Phogat passed the selection trails to qualify for participating in the commonwealth games 2018. The others to have qualified for the two tournaments are Vinesh Phogat (50 kg), Pooja Dhanda (57Kg), Divya Karan (68Kg) and Kiran (76Kg). Sushil Kumar Former world champion Shushil Kumar, two-time Olympic Gold medallist, in 2010 in New Delhi and 2014 in Glasgow, will now be representing India in the Commonwealth Games 2018, to be held at Gold Coast, Australia, in April. Sushil, who returned to the international arena after three years with a Commonwealth Championships gold, won all his bouts in the 74kg category.  Sushil Kumar beat Jitender Kumar 4-3 in the final qualification round for 74kg category trails conducted for selection of India's wrestling representatives for the 2018 Commonwealth Games at the KD Jadhav Stadium in New Delhi.
